Life Achievement Award for Vicky Colbert
26th November 2019, Bogota – Colombia.
The Ministry of National Education of Colombia -MEN- presented Vicky Colbert, executive director of FEN, with the Life & Work award in recognition for her dedication and contributions to the country’s education sector.
The distinction was given to her during the ceremony of The Night of the Best 2019, an annual event in which the MEN recognizes and highlights the work of people who contribute significantly to the transformation of education in Colombia and have become an example of tenacity for the future generations.
During the event, Maria Victoria Angulo -Minister of Education- explained that the award was “a tribute to those who, with transparency and leadership, give their lives to education” and that with it they seek to highlight an inspiring trajectory and the effort of those who work day by day so that all children and youth in Colombia receive a quality education.
