FEN was -once again- recognized by the Finnish non-profit organization HundrED as one of the 100 most innovative and inspiring educational projects in the world.

The Ministry of National Education of Colombia -MEN- granted Vicky Colbert, executive director of FEN, the Life and Work award in recognition of her dedication and constant contributions to the educational sector in Colombia.

FEN was selected by HundrED -a not-for-profit organization based in Helsinki (Finland)- as One of the 100 Most Inspiring Educational Innovations across the world. The selected innovations cover various fields of education, from holistic learning and wellness environments to collaborative learning and game-based education, as well as a variety of topics including small-teacher-led practices and ambitious non-profit initiatives.

The Yidan Prize Foundation awarded Ms. Vicky Colbert, founder and executive director of FEN, with the Yidan Prize for Educational Development in its first edition. This award acknowledges leaders with innovative ideas that effectively address major challenges in the education field.

Vicky Colbert was awarded in Spain with the recognition Premios Magisterio – Protagonistas de la Educación (Magisterium Awards – Education Protagonists). The award -organized by the Siena Comunicación Group and its publication Periodico Magisterio- highlights the actions of professionals, organizations and companies that with their work and example have contributed to the improvement of education.

FEN received the “El Colombiano Ejemplar” Award -in the children’s category- for transforming and improving the quality of life of disadvantaged Colombian children in the most remote areas of the country, during the past 30 years.

Vicky Colbert´s outstanding contribution to a world-class education was recognized with the global WISE Prize for Education, which highlights the innovation, scale and impact of programs that reaches the most marginalized communities in the world.

Colombian Semana magazine and Royal Salute rewarded FEN for its work on transforming teaching and improving the quality of education in Colombia.
