Escuela Nueva Activa (ENA) is a pedagogical model that transforms the conventional school and way of learning. It has successfully modified the conventional teacher-centered educational approach, into a child-centered one where learning occurs in an active, participative, and cooperative way. ENA has demonstrated that conventional “rote and passive” teaching practices can be massively changed into a new educational paradigm based on cooperative, personalized, participatory, and constructivist learning.

ENA puts into practice valid principles of modern educational theory through concrete, simple strategies that can be applied in any context and understands the school as the fundamental unit of change to improve the coverage, quality, and equity of education.
