2020 – 2021

FEN, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education (MEN), develops three virtual training programs focused on strategies from the Escuela Nueva Activa (ENA) model. These programs are tailored for both home-based and classroom teaching environments.

The courses take place through Renueva virtual campus. They reach elementary school teachers from multigrade schools in targeted municipalities. The training covers 1,780 teachers (1,000 in 2020, and 780 in 2021). A second phase focuses on strengthening and deepening ENA. In this phase, 420 teachers who excelled in the initial courses participate.
