FEN, Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practice Prize finalist

FEN has been named a top 10 finalist for the Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practice Prize, an award given every other year by the Jacobs Foundation to non-profits, businesses, and social ventures worldwide that have achieved outstanding accomplishments with innovative solutions that -based on evidence obtained from high-quality and rigorously applied research methods- improve child development and learning in practice.

It is a great honor for us to be part of the select group of organizations. This recognition highlights our efforts to improve the lives of girls and boys through a new educational paradigm based on cooperative, personalized, and participatory learning. It also acknowledges our commitment to enhancing the quality, relevance, and efficiency of education in rural and urban communities in Colombia and other countries.

The announcement of the three recipients is scheduled for September 2024, with the award ceremony set to take place at the end of the year.
